I really hate to have to post this, but it's actually quite simple to
filter most of the spew by simply killfiling all posts with the follwing
in their *subject lines*:

India
Hindu
Muslim
Terrorism

As new topics get added by the trouble makers, simply look for other key
words that are unlikely to appear in subject lines for messages which
are on-topic and create filters for them.
