The web-site allows you to browse the binary forums and essentially
create a type of 'shopping list' or 'download list' - you can then feed
this list (.nzb file) into an appropriate newsreeder. If you have a
usenet account that has access to the relevent binaries forums then the
newsreeder will then go and download the files you selected.
The advantage is you don't need to download all the headers from a
forum in order to find a binary you want.
This is my understanding of it but I am sure someone will correct me if
I have got it wrong :-)
