Time.
Power lines are also not dangerous when not touching, but it is known
that it raises the risks for cancer when living nearby.
The biggest problem is, that handys and their nets have inter-tacted
frequencies, simulating (disturbing,) the wave-frequency, we Human use
to interact with Universe.
2nd. The Battery Innovation/Technology is year 1800´something. That's
pure antique stuff! Even older than automobiles...
3rd The production of cellies is dangerous to some people on the World,
e.g. Arsen poisened areas. So, IMO is no direct danger needed or being
proved, the secondary effects are enough for me.
4th: Internet, Usenet can give much better conversation than that
crackling cell-phones. With some arrangement and foreseeing at
home/office with phone and internet, I can live good w/o a handy.

P.S.: Yes. Steam pressure.
P.P.S.: Do you know the story about the radio operator, and his melting
choccolate in the vest pocket? He have been flowed through, with the
known dangerous microwave (it's radiation, correctly). But he didn't
die in a small amount of time, taking a bath in a menbig microwave-oven
would lead to death in a minute.
