Mike, MB and drive monitoring depends on the MB or drive to provide
signals that the software can monitor. Not all MBs and drives provide
these signals. Of those that do, not all MBs (I haven't seen it with
drives, since S.M.A.R.T. is a standard) provide the same signals, or
provide them in the same way, so not all monitoring programs monitor
all MBs equally well. You have to find one that works with your
particular MB. (And, if your drive isn't S.M.A.R.T. compatible, no
software is going to monitor its temperature.)
