I had the same problem. The only way I get get RegSeeker to run was to
uncheck HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.

Since I have acute tweak-and-experiment-itis, I keep an image of my HDD on
another drive. When I totally trash my system, I reformat and load the
image, which I did a couple weeks ago. RegSeeker has run just fine since
then. Go figger.
