Ah ha! I have found a difference.
When you use the 'Typewriter' function, then save the file, Foxit adds
'Evaluation Marks' (ie make a right mess of the page).
Previously, you could get round this by not saving, but instead
'printing' to another PDF file using Primo, FreePDF etc (although the
'double Ls' tend to run together).
Now you can't. You get either a blank PDF file, or one with your text
not added, and also original images removed.
Cunning, these Foxit people!!
