The Matrox Parhelia gave the promised 220% speedup in GDI and over
1000% in 3D/DX/OGL, compared to the G400/450 I had before. No, the
machine and XP/DOS are working very fast, indeed. I guess it has
something to do with the 2nd Level-cache, Prefetch-Logic and so - maybe
it can be out-programmed so that it runs lame (with intent).
