Well, the IE7 beta isn't regarded as an "update", so that wouldn't make it
any different than without the chexkbox marked.

But as I said, when I finally came back into my
machine I had other ways to fix it... ;-)

No it didn't, but thanks anyway for trying. :-)

The "not-possible-to-uninstall" feature of IE7 has been discussed in many
forums, and that's where I found discussions on the "normaliz.dll" problem
as well.
