Maybe, but easily checked by googling. Personally, I like a squared. It
has found several programs that adaware and spybot missed. On checking
what the programs did, they were all "call home" and installed by
companies like creative and visioneer. Zone alarm caught the visioneer
one trying to call out, which prompted me to run a squared.

In fact, just used it today and it caught the scanner spyware, since I
had re-installed the scanner.

As far as spam goes, most of mine is stopped by my ISP, so no big deal
if I get a couple more. One click and they are all gone.
