I've tried many weather-related programs in the past, but I always ended up
uninstalling them.

Whether Dial-up or Broadband... *to me* it just makes sense to keep as
little as possible running to conserve system resources and connect to the
website when I want to know what the current weather conditions are (when am
too lazy to turn around and look out the window).

That's just my 2-cents.
