Microsoft's NetMeeting is easy to use and very efficient.
All you need to do is make sure it's installed on both computers.
Just start it, enter your name, test the sound, and it will start up.
You will then host a meeting (File>Host Meeting) and the other person
will enter your IP and press Enter.
You will handshake and then you can share desktops and do anything on
them.
It is a little slow on 56k connections but Broadband is really fast,
just like you are using your own desktop.
